Initial comprehension about OOPS was that it is just another roundabout way to achieve things, rather than the usual way to code the logic.
With a better understanding (though I don't claim to be an expert now :), I feel that there could be no better way to achieve reusability in a more decoupled way. When applications are decoupled, they tend to stay for a longer period as the changing requirements could be catered.
